Mount the bike on a work stand so that the crankset can turn freely.
Place the chain on the small freewheel and adjust the bike so that the lower part of the chain is parallel to the ground.
Brush excess mud, dirt and grime off the chain and freewheel with the sprocket brush and the cleaning brush
Assemble the handle to the chain cleaner body.
Position the chain cleaner on the lower part of the chain, halfway between the sprocket set and the crank set.
Replace the cover, then rotate the locking clip. You should hear an audible "CLICK" to indicate that the locking clip is secure.
Add degreaser up to the "FILL" line on the side of the lower housing.
Do not overfill to avoid overflow.
Hold the chain cleaner handle firmly in one hand and slowly turn the crank/pedal counter-clockwise several full rotations until the entire chain has been cycled 2-3 times.
Fill the tank with fresh cleaning fluid and repeat the process if necessary.
Remove the chain cleaner and dry the chain thoroughly with a cloth to remove all cleaning fluid.
Relubricate the chain
.Rinse the chain cleaner with water and dry it in the shade before storing it.
