The KRM large diameter handlebars are made from high quality aluminium series 6061.
Starting from a 28.6mm diameter tube, the tube is cut and knurled (grooved) on the left side to prevent the handlebar cover from slipping.
Then, the future handlebar is stretched thanks to a swaging system allowing to reach a 22mm diameter at both ends.
This 22mm diameter is standardised and corresponds to all handles, levers etc...
Then the handlebars are bent in several places to give them their shape. The KRM is a typical motocross / enduro / supermotard model.
The handlebars are then sandblasted in order to have a homogeneous visual by removing the possible marks related to the bending. Then it is anodized in black before receiving all the KRM decorations by a very special process of baked decalcomania guaranteeing a breathtaking visual and a very strong resistance.
