In comparison with the original one, Malossi's unit powers curves are completely modified and the limiter has been moved to 15.000 rpm.
This new Digitronic manages the timing and the SAS valves.
Timing dimensional drawing
The ignition timing management is made through the linear interpolation of a 3-dimension dimentional drawing, made of 16 revolution break and 8 engine temperature break points.
SAS valve dimensional drawing
The secondary air release downstream in the butterfly valve allows the engine control system to compensate the non-linearity of a carburetor system typical flow.
The SAS valve (Secondary Air Source) is controled by the electronic control unit via a linear interpolation dimensional drawing with 16 function break points on the number of engine revolutions and 8 function break points on the engine temperature.
The SAS valve adjustment reduces the polluting emissions and optimises the engine performance in all using conditions.
Thought to be ready for use, which means compatible with the original sensors system and actuators.
The sharpened settings and ECu mappings give a real improvement to the engine performances.
