The ER1 cylinder is a 5 transfer sweep with aluminium booster exhaust ports. Made of aluminium for better heat dispersion, it has a nikasil coating. This results in a low-friction surface with a very high resistance. The elliptical piston consists of a single piston ring (1 mm thin) made of hard chrome steel. DOPPLER recommends to combine its cylinder with the DOPPLER cylinder head.
