The S1R aluminium cylinder is a 5 transfer scavenger with booster exhaust ports. Made of aluminium for better heat dispersion, it has a nikasil coating. This results in a low-friction surface with a very high resistance. The elliptical piston with two rings is made of hard chrome steel. DOPPLER advises to combine its cylinder with the DOPPLER cylinder head (ref: 215078).
